What is an Incubator?
The Incubator is a series of 4 sessions over an eight-week period. They are led by a trained facilitator and are intended to teach, support and empower the women who join it.
The Incubator is not your typical coffee klatch or corporate-type networking. The Incubator is the first savvy forum to marry intuition with ingenuity and creativity with collaboration and dreaming! Designed to connect people both on-line and in-person; entrepreneurs, writers, artists, freelancers, independent contractors, film producers, founders of non-profits and anyone interested in launching or expanding a business or creative project come together to find their common denominator - being in the flow of their life and living out their creative dreams. And for those of you with wander lust pondering just when oh when you will ever get off your derrière and start that creative project you've been dreaming about - sit no more.
Everyone in the Incubator first goes through an Incubator Intensive, a workshop designed to help you expand and clarify your vision, get you moving and initiate you to the concepts of incubating. This program is designed for anyone who wants to expedite their dreams, launch a brand new idea, expand an existing venture or simply explore the possibilities of creativity and entrepreneurship in their lives. Literally any motivated woman at any stage in her life can benefit from this program.
For those who complete the intensive, there is an on-going Incubator where the momentum continues and the magic happens with events, parties, inspiring speakers and connecting with some of the most brilliant women in your area and around the country. The ongoing Incubator keeps you in the mix and connected to a network that just gets bigger and more dynamic every day. Joining for the year is like being part of a monthly lecture series that feeds your mind, business and life with nutrients you couldn't get anywhere else. You will meet people and hear speakers you might only read about in magazines. Staying tuned in is part of continuing to go higher and further.

FAQ's About the Incubator:
People often ask...is the Incubator for me? Yes!! The Incubator is literally for any motivated woman. We've had wildly successful CEO's who want to turn up the heat on a personal project and join the Incubator, along with seasoned professionals who've made it in one world but want to take on the next, as well as women who just have an inkling of an idea. Think of the Incubator like a focus group, or your own personal think tank. Sure, everyone has friends who support them, but rarely do you get the undivided attention of a dozen other women behind YOUR project. Think about it; to Incubate means you will take something from one stage and hold its hand to the next. Add the energy and knowledge of the leader and other members of your group, and soon your project has a life of its own. The bottom line is, we mix everyone together and magic inevitably happens. Before you join the Incubator, see if you fall into one of these categories:
"Is it too soon? I have just launched." No way…The time is ripe! What is better than getting your seed of a project into the hands of creative and motivated women? Ladies Who Launch acts as a distribution, PR and marketing channel, meaning that your idea will get out into the world where it belongs. Most importantly, it gives you the support for those hard days that we all have when you feel like throwing in the towel.
"I have no idea what I want to do. Can I still join?" This is a legitimate Incubator project. By the end of the Incubator, using input from the other woman ,it is very likely that you will be clear about what you want to do and begin taking the steps to make it happen.
"I have an established business. What will it do for me?" Move forward faster. Massage your creativity and your business. Just like Madonna, if you want to stay relevant, you have to continue to reinvent and re-launch your project and idea. No project or business should ever get complacent or stagnant - the Incubator will keep you motivated and fresh. It becomes your own personal focus group for taking your business to the next level and to places you may never had thought it can go. It's also fun--the most important part of keeping your business original and alive!

Meet the Ladies Angel Network Incubator Facilitators :
Our three LAN Facilitators have been trained by Ladies Who Launch experts and are the catalyst to your launch.
Kim Allouche:
With more than twenty years experience, psychotherapist, Kim Allouche, L.C.S.W. specializes in working with individuals and couples. Kim's passion for the field of psychotherapy has driven her to study a diversity of psychotherapeutic models including, psychoanalytic, family, solution-focused and transpersonal psychology. Prior to opening her practice in Brooklyn and SoHo, Kim worked with individuals and groups in Paris, France. Kim is married with four children.
Marissa Anteby:
While earning her college degree in Advertising/Communication Marissa Anteby rose to the position of Associate Manager of Marketing/Operations at Business Week Magazine. She later traveled around the world with her husband and 4 children, attaining nine certifications in the wellness field (Yoga, Cycling, etc.). Marissa became internationally acknowledged when she lived and taught in Dubai, UAE. For over a decade she has been amassing a loyal following of Iron-Men competitors and celebrities, through her classes held in Manhattan's swankest health clubs.
Shelly Franco:
Shelly Franco is a community member , proud wife and mother of four. Her take charge personality, organizational skills, compassion and ability to think outside the box allows her to be successful in all of her endeavors. Shelly is a noted bridge silver life master and teacher. Her approachable, easy going manner enables people to share their thought and dreams with her.
